Talking to strangers

I couldn't help noticing their bikes as they raced past us on the Beach Road bike path.A beautiful, shiny, retro style upright and a stylish single speed. Later, we caught up for a brief chit chat and photos. They were visiting Melbourne from Bristol, staying with family and had been loaned a pair of brand new Charge bikes from Monza imports. They were cycling to Williamstown;a ride I still haven't  done ,despite having lived here for the last 45 years. This is something that would never happen in the car. Pull over, enjoy the sunshine and pass the time of day with a couple of strangers.

MG~ life is too short to ride around in a bubble! Having a blog is a great ice breaker~being a fairly old Coote, I am still in awe of the whole interweb thing. ~ian
