I never was really good at physics, to tell you the truth. I have absolutely no idea how this crane could support a bag of groceries,let alone a barrel of premix.

- Having spent most of my working life at sea, as a sailor in the merchant marine,I have recently come ashore for a second go as a land lubber.The first time I was retrenched due to the GFC and I went back to sea on the Bass Strait ferries .Three years later,here I am. My job as a cargo super involves a company car and a small amount of driving around, which I try to keep to a minimum. This blog is my view of the world from the saddle and also a diary of my passion for old, steel framed French treadlies.
