I've never ridden a bicycle through Sydney. To be honest ,I'm not sure if I'd want to.The green lights seem to coincide much more efficiently than here in Melbourne and as a consequence, the traffic moves fast.REALLY fast. The topography of Sydney ensures that the lanes are narrow.REALLY narrow, leaving little or no room for a cyclist. I did see a lot of bike messengers and some very fast commuters, but for the time being I'll leave it to them.
These cycle lanes link York Street to Clarence Street and then on to the bridge and I was happy to see this street sweeper hard at work.
