- Having spent most of my working life at sea, as a sailor in the merchant marine,I have recently come ashore for a second go as a land lubber.The first time I was retrenched due to the GFC and I went back to sea on the Bass Strait ferries .Three years later,here I am. My job as a cargo super involves a company car and a small amount of driving around, which I try to keep to a minimum. I'm not sure what's going on here,BB.These racks are located on the outskirts of town,away from High street and the cafe's etc.I'm sure there must be a reason.Perhaps for the folks who visit the Stella Maris/ Flying Angel clubs?
