the annual whine

My daily ride

In the town where I live, we can't afford to pay our teachers a decent salary, the hospitals are closing beds and care for the aged is rapidly being privatised. And yet, we can find $50 million plus, to pay the owner for the rights to stage a leg of the Grand Prix.

Anyways, you don't read my blog to hear me whine so that's it from me for another year.(on this particular subject)

John Lee, you are right. It's good to have the odd whine from time to time.

Hey Adventure. The GP does provide a couple of hundred jobs for 3 months of the year. Not to mention ,has been rockers a chance to top up the super fund. Interestingly, even 'sponsor anything that moves',Qantas, has dropped off the sponsor list this year.Rolex?Hardly a major corporation.

My main beef, is the waste of resources putting this thing up every year and then tearing it down. Not a really great thing for the environment,eh?
